“Wrongfully do men lament the flight of time….Let your work be such that after death you become an image of immortality.” -Leonardo Da Vinci

Captured in a freeze-frame,
Still frame with a mind of it’s own.
Not flat, but round, despite the
Two dimensional aspect.

The value, both in tone
And heart, flourishing into life,
Yet again, it’s just a piece of paper…
A piece of paper with characteristic,

Not just a blank sheet,
It can be whatever is desired from
The creative imagination, but
you just, unfortunately have to capture it.

Obtaining these memories, must be held,
Carefully at the right angle, lighting, distance,
Or it’s just another faded, fuzzy memory
Of something that had happened,

Not something that will be forever embedded
Blended and working together despite
The differences in color, shape, and proportion.
Always attracted through opposition.
