Oh steeler of sleep, for i am weak,
Without dreaming i have no meaning
Tonight i will weep, for give me my sleep
the moon and the stars will hang in the sky
Surely i may die
I have no thoughts to ponder upon
My mind is blank
Won't you be kind and give me my sleep?
For it is far too deep in the night
Soon the sun will shine it's morning light
Or might you let me close my eyes
Could i buy another night
While you hold back the morning light?
