Winter Sharks
Don’t make friends with the sharks under the water.
That want nothing more than to tear you apart
They don’t think that she’s someone’s daughter
They just keep making the same vile remark.
She washes down the pain down with smoke
She’s still tasting the words shoved down her throat
She can’t breathe, she’s beginning to choke
The water fills her lungs with acid
She’s trapped, tormented in this placid
If only they knew what they were doing to her
Maybe she wouldn’t be dead right now
They only saw the slaughter
As food in the water
Her body was ripped to pieces bit by bit
They got a meal but she wouldn’t benefit
No amount of lifeguards could save her from dying
She was finally at a point where she was done with trying

This was inspired by my own life and how the people I trusted betrayed me and messed up my life. I was being bullied a lot and I let it get to me.
