Layers of paint
I am lightning white
sharp like a well-dressed business man.
Organized like an OCD maniac.
Electric, like a comedian running onto stage to tell the first joke of the night.
I am translucent on the inside,
my dreams, projections of what others want from me.
My hobbies are what other people like to do.
My interests don't interest me.
Deep within me cries a vibrant red,
bursting with feeling and emotion.
What I want, what I like, what inspires me...
This color is painted over by the translucent, and then the white,
as if it was never there.
