I am a Bowling Pin
We see distant, our enemy approaching.
Packed with my friends--
a group of 10 invincible.
An attack on one, would be an attack on all.
Scrambling more than expected we fix our bearing.
But a firm force like ball bearings breaks our formation.
Our group grips, but few of us remain.
Old friends are swiped beneath our feet.
Eventually all friends fall.
We weren’t meant to be--
But still friends come back to me.
We stand strong for a moment.
But we were destined to fall.
The life still greater than that of a ball
with no one at all.
