night
Late nights were always my favorite
The quiet that surrounded me as i sat on the roof, pondering the existence of the stars and moon,it all comforted me
Humming along to the sweet melodies of the crickets
Cool breezes played with my hair
Simplicity
Nothing to do so much to consider
Just take all of it in
The moon, he spoke to me
The stars they modeled their beauty
Trees leaned to the wind to hear their whispers
Owls danced down branches
Singing their special songs of woah
The grace of it all never failed to amaze my eyes
Or warm my heart
It's all fades with the soft orange sun
The coir of morning birds
I have to stay and watch it all disappear
The elegance of the clear night sky, with the enchantment of a golden morning
Nothing could compare to the site
Crisp dew covering the roof where i sit
The bright green of the grass where the dew lay
Crawling back through my window off the roof
Cuddling back into a deep sleep
Late nights were always my favorite
