Heartbroken
April 5, 2016
You left me alone
to endure my sorrows on my own
but then shortly after i felt free
you released me from my misery
although i think of the times we had
and how they never failed to make me smile
i know its so much better
if we stay away from each other for quite a while
lessons learned and plenty of tears shared
heartbroken i stand
and just stop and stare
