An eye Into Inequality

Positive is a word
that will never describe
A horrible thing such as segregation
Many lives have been taken
I have been awaken
By the cruel events that happened in the past
I really hope this horror never lasts
The taunting is extremely haunting
The thought of being called horrendous titles
It is truly a shame
That this was accepted
less than a century ago
And yet to this day
Not everyone is treated equal today
I am mystified
That this was thought as right
Segregation
Is never a positive word
