To be a kid
People seem to forget what it’s like to be a kid
They’re quick to say well you can do it if I did.
They seem to forget what it’s like
Working everyday all night
Then trying to make sure your homework’s right.
What happened to stay young as long as you can?
Now were forced to grow up before we’re ten.
I’d like to see you go back to 17 again.
Cause this generation isn’t the same
But we the kids aren’t to blame.
If you want us mature that we will be
But don’t get mad when you can no longer control me.
Cause I feel I am on my own
There will be nothing you can do to bring me home.
So make your choice fast
Cause soon my childhood will be in the past.
So hurry choose before it’s too late
Cause soon my life will be up to fate.
