because there are too many of you that
move mountains and swallow tsunamis
and endure the earth on your shoulders

for the entirety of your life
only to die in the midst of a thunderstorm
with lightning written into your chest
and a smile on your lips

because you rush to split the sea
for others to pass and move forward
but you are so fixated upon them

that you forget to stop the current
for yourself and they tread forward
and leave you to drown
and you let them

Humanity i hate you
because there is more love in your veins
than blood and you expend it
for everyone but yourself

and at the end of the day
despite all your virtues
you are left with nothing but hatred
for the one in the mirror oh Humanity
