Through the mirror

He is nothing but a mess
His puny mind corrupted by society
His thoughts forever conflicting with society's norms
Himself unsure of who he is
Internal battles being waged 24/7 in his head
He knows not why he can't conform
Alone and forlorn, he doubts himself
Unaware of his full potential
I pity him for his unfortunate situation
I pity his sorry eyes that stare at me through the mirror.
