The world spins about her like a globe
And she has no control over
Where she lands
The ground is over her head and the sky
Is under her feet
Her life
Flips backwards and upside-down like an acrobat
She watches separate from her body
And she wonders
When did this happen
How
Will the air stop vibrating
Will everything settle
Like a passenger who missed their train
She waits
In endless turmoil
