How much do I love you?
How much do I love you?
I could stretch my arms
To the ends of this earth
And it still not be enough
I could take you to different galaxies
So you would see that
It isn't gravity holding me up
It's you
I could hike you up mountain tops
So that you would feel breathless
Again
I could take you to the Great Wall of China
And make you walk the entire thing
And back
So you could never again say
"I'm exhausted"
But then I'd take you to Berlin
So you could see its okay
To let your walls break down
It'd take you back in time
To the day of your birth
So you could see the sparkle
In your mothers eye
When she first held you in her arms
All pink and crying
So you could feel loved again
A love that I could never give you
Because even if I dragged you
Across the universe
And stopped at every star so
You could see how bright you shine
You could still
Never love me
As much
As I love you
