Mouse vs. Owl
He looks tough, but avoids consequences and escapes like a mouse cheating death.
He promises with an assertive tone, but doesn’t mean a thing he says.
He owns a cheshire grin makes you believe he’s a puffy red rose when he’s just a dandelion lying helpless on the concrete sidewalk-- lonely and forgotten.
He tries to show confidence and act like a wolf but at times of confrontation cowers like a coyote.
He chuckles “I tell them, they don’t tell me” to show dominance.
His deep voice and musky fragrance of Ralph Lauren Cologne and cigarettes agrees.
His laid back attitude covers up for his reality of loneliness-- alone and empty he walks for days.
His manipulative ways are covered up by the comfort he spreads unknowingly.
His soft forehead kisses send radiating warmth.
His laugh spreads joy.
His need for someone to care is as desperate of that of an orphan.
He’s lonely and he’s scared.
He’s charming but not fair.
He’s like a child, helpless but curious.
He’s suffocating and heart breaking.
He’s brought tears of joy and sadness all too soon.
He’s revolting and rotten like an old piece of fruit.
He looks tough, but avoids consequences and escapes like a mouse cheating death.
He’s broken and broken the ones he was believed to care about.
He’s gotten to the mad hatter a total loon.
She’s a woman of course. A broken hearted one too.
He played the game right he won.
She wants a rematch she’s not quite done.
She is an owl, a curious one at that.
She stands wise and showers people with her bubbly personality.
She cares but tries to hide it under protection of the dark sky.
She is the owl that’s a teensy bit wack.
She is the one who’ll kill the cowardly mouse, a clever attack.
