Out on the Water

"Get hands-on!" yells the coxswain.
The weight of the heavy boat on my
shoulder as we walk down the ramp.
Roll to waist and in, in two!" yells the
coxswain as we struggle to hold the
boat up. As soon as the oars are in
we are ready to launch. "Push off the
dock in two!" shouts the coxswain.
We start pick up speed, faster and
faster the boat glides across the water.
