Shards
Karma bites back,
Nice and hard,
It's like picking up glass shards,
Cutting through the skin,
Maybe then you won't have to pay for all your sins.
It bites back nice and deep,
Like dead flowers in a big heap,
Waiting for a little color,
But asking for this is like asking for a blind lover.
Smothered gasping for air,
Running fingers through someone's hair,
I ask you,
If your foot were in someone else's shoe,
Could you handle it?
