Butterfly
Remember those swingsets,
All those years ago?
I still have them,
But now they have an ego.
After you left they no longer swinged,
Because now you have angel wings.
I sit outside upon our favorite hill,
Waiting for the wind to bring you here.
Not knowing that all these years,
That you were broken.
The long sleeves, the gloomy looks
All that didn't require a second look.
Now it's too late to save you,
But I hope He found you.
