Hiding Everywhere
Poems hide in our brains,
buried deep in our thoughts.
We cant find them unless we dig,
dig to the bottom.
Although our shovels dull,
and spirits low, the dirt is soft.
We might say, “I”m not creative”.
Creativity is found in our souls,
our hearts, our minds.
Some just aren’t adventurous
enough to search.
Once I knew a woman who never took no.
Then someone told her, “write me a poem”
she never wrote a poem before,
she just had to dig to the core.
She brought the shovel
and started digging
She eventually found what she needed,
creativity in her heart.
