How does one color cause me such conflict?
How does red represent love and passion,
And simultaneously represent hate and aggression?
How can blue represent peace and serenity,
And simultaneously represent sadness and loneliness?

Perhaps the answer lies in the shade of color-
From it's blackest shade to its purest white.

But if white is the "color" of purity,
Yet made of all colors combined,
Wouldn't that make black the most pure?
A complete absence of impurities? Color?
So is it the shade that symbolizes emotion?

But then-
Why does humanity need to symbolize what they feel instead of simple living it?
Because atheists need to see something to believe in it?
Because no one could believe it can be real if it cannot be seen?

What about the emotions that don't have a color?
Perhaps the color cannot be seen by our eyes, absent from the pattern of the Prism.
Maybe, we have colors that we ourselves cannot see even though they are within us!

I hate believing in such colors, they cause only conflict.
Yet, I weave a shirt of them and wear that same dirty shirt day after day.
Maybe it's just an addiction to which no cure had been found.
There is no escape of it.
Because without it, mankind would cease to exist.
