Everything will be okay in the end, if it's not okay, it's not the end

Ttttssssssssssssssssssss
It came to a stop
We all got on, trying to get home.
We had to sit in the back because you know that’s how things are;
Bad.
Ttttssssssssssssssssssss
We stopped again,
More people joined us, almost filled.
Ttttssssssssssssssssssss
This time it filled the bus.
Ttttssssssssssssssssssss
Too many white people are getting on,
This isn’t fair,
We shouldn’t have to move,
These seats are designated for us.
“You four have to move”
Excuse me? You want me to do what?
“This man needs a seat, you have to move”
Oh right, because you’re white and I’m black I have to move,
Because that’s so fair.
“No” she said quietly
It didn’t even register what had happened at first,
You don’t say no, you just don’t.
“No” she said again
Is this actually happening?
“Why don’t you have to stand up?”
“I don’t think I should have to”
I can’t even believe she just said that,
What does she think she’s doing?
“I’m tired of giving in; I just can’t do it anymore”
I don’t even know what to say
I didn’t think that was allowed.
She’s crazy...
Or is she smart?
Can we do this?
Stand up to the whites?
Tell them no?
That things are wrong this way?
I think we can,
Things are going to change
Insane what one day can do
One regular day can change everything
All because of one word,
No.
Rosa Parks,
Imagine that
She came on the bus trying to get home
And she got off a hero,
A new hero who inspires.
