"How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live. " - Henry David Thoreau

When the sun is retiring to its chambers,
And slowing down its rate,
It crashes against the sea
In that beautiful infinitesimal second
A stunning gray arises and swallows everything;
It's a mixture of colors, a splash of illusion and hope
It's the pinnacle of the day
The most amazing thing in the eyes of the beholder
Scarce are the lucky ones to whom it's allowed to contemplate
The alluring colors of a striking evening
The beautiful thought held between the idea of a meaningful death;
The decease of the light shining out to the living.
And much like the hopeful gray formed from indecision and clash of emotions
Is my love
For you.
