Why is the true beauty of nature hidden so?
Masked, bandaged, painted over, flaws erased.
Attempting to create a perfect being that shimmers, glows
Cover Girl covers up, that allure is replaced
Don't want to see cosmetics that litter your face
What lies underneath is what is true
What overlays is a flawed flawless lie
From the slathered sludge on your lips
to the mud in your eyes
All it is and ever was was nature's disguise.
