There is a mood
That covers us all
It’s a blanket
That keeps me warm
It’s a blanket that
Traps my body
Makes me sweat
I can’t escape
The heat
Soothing and suffocating
I will never leave it
It grows with me
And while I love it
I may also hate it
Until I escape
Into the dark abyss
I will wallow
For better or
For worse
Under my blanket
