Here I am sitting on the table
Waiting for a chance to be used
I am wrapped in a container in this box I sit in
I hear the paper tearing
Light shining though
A face of a child so excited to get me
She screams in excitement
She pushes the paper away and breaks the box I am in
She pulls me out so carefully
She plays with all my functions and even calls her best friend
Then she puts me down to look at other gifts
And I am forgotten
I will just sit here on the table
Wondering if I may be used again
Or if I will just sit here never to be used again
