Is it worth it?

There he stood
At the corner of the field
With his white and red helmet
High in his hands,
Behind him his team, ready to charge
But they knew better
As the foe ahead of them
Was Fierce
Armed with their weapons of
Brass destruction awaiting them
But none moved, they waited,
And waited but none moved waiting for the other side to jump first
As they waited both sides started to think
Is it really worth it or
Should we risk going into
The enemy’s terrain, there
Would be no winner so
The question is
Is it worth it?
