Death
the

    a

of the World

Whiteness
Covers
Ice
Covers

Danger lurks in the icy eaves
And hangs from every icicle
And waits around the corner

Cold so sharp
it waits to bite your cheek
        like a dog

But
Hope waits patiently
Patiently
Just below the cold icy barrier

How long will this winter last?
How long?

This poem is beautiful :) It has such a spooky eerie feel to it, I absolutely love it - also I'm pretty sick of winter myself and would like some warm weather :) Congrats on the Editors Choice!
