Don't ask me why I cried yesterday
Don't ask if I'm okay
Don't ask why I wear long sleeves
On the hottest summer's day
Don't ask me why I sit alone
Don't try to comfort me
If I wanted pity and sympathy
I'd have it abundantly
Don't ask me where your pills went
Please mother! Don't you cry
My pain will be over soon
