Mirror
I am aluminum
Exactly the same
Wherever I go, I indulge
In the simple pleasures
Of unmisted love or dislike
I am cold hearted
Blunt in my way of words
I am four cornered
Most of the time
I glimpse at a window
Unseen, unheard mysteries waiting
Sunshine cascading itself
Through my window
I think it is a part of my heart.
But it flickers hopelessly
Darkness separates me from its warmth
My reflection awakens
Eyes slowly opening
To mirror my image.
