Hope shines

Hope
Hope shines on
like stars in the night sky,
providing a beacon of light
in the endless mass of darkness.
Though they seem to be trapped
in isolations cold grip,
they continue to burn and spread their light.
They can't always be seen
and may seem to drift away,
but they remain
burning in a constant light,
keeping our hearts warm.
