Darkness of the night rises
Swallowing everything into shadows
Clouds blanket the skies
My heart races
I hear footsteps all around me
Where are they coming from?
Who is there?
Being swept off my feet
Launching my frail body into the air
My lungs screaming
Abruptly it all stops
Could it really be him?
The one they all talk about
He saved me
But from what?
From who?
Maybe, just maybe
He saved me
From me
