At It Again
And her hair's in a bow because she's pulling it togehter
and her eyes are blank and sometimes angry
And her lips are closed unnaturally tightly,
because she has no one to talk to.
Her heart is being pulled by people far away
But her soul is whole because she knows
she has the Lord.
And her hands are twitching because
she can never rest,
and her legs just keep moving
where she needs to be;
And she's curvier than she ever meant to be
And can't remember the last day she didn't cry
But there are people who have it worse than her,
so she knows she'll be just fine.
It's just another battle
in this never-ending war
I don't know if I've ever been okay
for a year or more.
My life is sort of a rollercoaster,
and right now I'm going downhill.
I'm out of energy to throw up my arms,
I've stopped enjoying the thrill.
And my mind can't decides if it wants to spin.
