memories of you remain. Shifting back to a time where we almost
lost you. But you kept fighting. We told you to

on. Just a little bit longer. But the burden was too much for you to
bear. It was your time to go. We had you for so long, and now it was

time to accept that asking to you stay here was selfish. I never got to
say goodbye before your last

but you know everything I wanted to say before it was time

those we lost before you to spend their afterlife with you.

I wrote this piece in memory of my grandfather and how it felt the day we lost him.
