Storming Light

And this thunderstorm will be worth watching
Knowing that you danced with me in the rain
And held me in the blazing heat
And i think this lightening strike i have experienced
Will be worth it because i like the heat
And i am used to being burned by the oven that warms my meals.
And as much as i would love for it to stop raining now,
I know that the longer it rains,
The more i will appreciate the sun
Once it protrudes from the unforgiving blackness of the clouds.
