Patches of skin through your worn t-shirt
Smile like that hides the hurt
You think no one cares
But I still see you there
When I look in the mirror
Don't you dare let the reflection fade
Life is good, just not today
Your smile will shine bright again
And you're not that far from your best friend
Just look in the mirror
I'll be a constant in this world of variables
One of these days we'll turn the tables
Your old pictures don't let me forget
If you think I'll overlook these times, don't fret
I'll look at you in the mirror again
