Invisible
I feel like a white crayon.
Having no notice.
An expired check having no use,
To keep around.
An old man going into battle.
Having no strength.
I feel like a balloon losing air,
Loud but no meaning.

A third wheel,
There to just be dragged along.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem during the dark moments of my anxiety. I wrote it to show how a person's self confidence can be affected. I want to reach out to people who feel hopeless in life, particularly people who feel that loving themselves is a weakness. My goal is to inspire people and help them realize there is hope in the world.
