Holey To Holy
I’m a hole.
People go around me,
Over me,
Step in me.
It hurts.
Some examine me,
With dirt, try to fill me,
But most just ignore me.
What did I do?
I ask,
I plead,
I beg.
No one hears me.
My voice is naught but a whisper,
Never heard among all the other whispers.
We are all holes.
Looking to be filled,
To be noticed,
To be cherished.
But yet no one does.
Yet there is One who can.
He has the solution,
But we don’t want it.
He knows how to fill us,
But we laugh!
He is the only One who can take us from holey, to holy.
To be a whole,
Not a hole.
All we need to do is ask.
