Starting Over
The people I tell that I care
Like to hurt me
And pretend I’m not there
But no longer will it stop me from being happy
I’ve been sad for too long
Looking for comfort in the drugs around
No longer will my happiness come from a bong
It will come from me and the sound
Of those who do care
And have showed me all along
They are right there
I just had to stop trying to belong.
