Chapped Lips

I look for you everywhere
sometimes i cant find you
i buy another
and you appear
are there gremlins who take you a far?
before i know it, i have lost two
then three
then four
then five
one day i check all my pockets
all five of them are to be found
now i put them in religious places
on my desk
in my pack
in the bathroom
in my sack
in my bedroom
without you my lips would be chapped
but with you my lips are still so chapped
