I Have Demons

I have demons in my soul
I have demons in my heart
I have demons in my head
I have demons in everything I am
I have demons that will show
I have demons that no one knows
With experience, I can say
They aren't that fun to deal with everyday
But over the years, after all this time
I've come to get used to those demons inside
I let them come out, they no longer hide
I couldn't get rid of the monsters inside
I welcome them with open arms
They can no longer do me harm
They are my friends, sad but true
If you want me, you have to accept them too
