question poem
Did you do the homework?
No, I decided this class wasn't
worth my time so why bother
doing it.
Yes, of course I did I need a good
grade in the class if I want to
get into a good college.
No, the thought of picking up my
pencil and doing the assignment was
as terrible as the thought of me being
stranded on a desert island for ten years.
Yes, it wasn't very long. I did it as quick
as a cheetah chasing its prey.
No, my couch grabbed hold of me and
wouldn't let me go.
Yes, I couldn't stand the thought that
would cross my mind if it wasn't finished.
No, the terrible thoughts that ran through my
head reminded me of other terrible moments
in history like the Boston Marathon
Bombing.
Yes, my pencil jumped into my hand and
forced me to write out an entire essay.
No, the buzzing of my earbuds took attention
away from my school work.
Yes, as soon as I got home my desk strapped
itself to me and would not let go until I finished
my work.
No, I decided I don't need to pass the class cause
college isn't in my near future.
