Broken I-Phone covered in masking tape to protect my fingers from the sharp glass underneath.
Is this a sign?
If I was born in the 1930s and saw a black brick with broken glass covered in dirty opaque masking tape I would never pick it up and I'd probably go find my friends.
In 2014 I would see that cracked i-phone and exclaim "I FOUND MY i-Phone"!
And I find that so terrible.
Picking up that i-phone will bring me much more harm then good.
People say they feel cut off from not having a phone. That is so false, it makes me want to scream!
Scream because that metal brick on the ground makes life complicated, shorter, lazier, as well as many other bad things. But hey, maybe I get to spend my afternoon liking photos in my room of people playing in the world outside the confines of my silicone, titanium, electric, walls.
I'm so done with that.
