The Castle of my Heart

waves wash away my defenses ever so slowly, then creep unseen to the shadows. Wall has been broken and the waves beat the castle forcing the crumbling of not just my castle but my time and and effort. outraged i blame the water and for its ignorance but then i think. Am i to blame the water for the destruction of not only mine but many's sand castles? or should i blame ignorance on those who place something cared for like their sand castles near an impending doom?
