Saints and Sinners
Saints belong in heaven,
While sinners dwell in hell,
Forsaken.
The Saint met the sinner.
Her Heart a void that was endless as an abyss.
A lost cause the saint sought.
She did not belong in paradise.
However the saint salvaged her from the wreckage of hell.
Her halo hung crooked,
The devil’s smile never left her face.
The saint gave her his heart.
And Lips of fury and wrath tainted his soul.
But God took mercy on the saint,
Cleansing his soul.
And the saint took mercy on the sinner,
His kiss bestowed her wings.
