The chore of vacuuming is such a bore,
Goin' 'round the house, over the floor.
Pushing, pushing, room to room,
Can't figure out why I couldn't use a broom

Brrr, Brrr, picking up dust,
Making me do it isn't quite just.
I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I do.
Sucking up dust and crumbs of dog chew.

Vacuuming is such a bore,
Always chipping paint off of the edge of the door.
The cord is always such a bother,
It needs to be another two miles longer.

It purrs until I pull its plug.
Picking up the frazzles at the end of a rug.
Then getting it out and chipping a nail.
Why am i such a no life and fail?

Do you know what I hate most?
It is when I have to play host.
I clean and clean all through the house.
Hey! Look! I found a big dead mouse!
