Little Dream World MAG

I walk
In my field of colored paper flowers
Watching the petals
Slowly fall off
And flutter through
The rainbow colored wind
As the white rain
Begins to drip down
From candy flavored clouds
To soak the multicolored flying petals
Of the paper flowers
And bring them to rest
In the dying black grass.

The author's comments:
I just wrote this as a little insight to the stuff I keep hidden from people, inside everyone there's a little darkness and then there might be a lot of light. Also, I just wanted to see how discriptive I could get and still allow the poem to flow, I pray I did well.

you should make it go deeper and instead of repeating flowers you should choose different imagery to help show the innocence being lost to the blackened earth. is it charred from a storm? how about scorged from a flame?
