Favorite Quote:
"Mi salvación fue leer, leer los buenos libros, refugiarme en esos mundos donde vivir era exaltante, intenso, una aventura tras otra, donde podía sentirme libre y volvía a ser feliz"
- Mario Vargas Llosa
My salvation was read, read good books, take refuge in those worlds where living was exhilarating, intense, one adventure after another, where I could feel free and be happy again

Will I remember the touch of the snow
Or will I forget as the spring comes through?
Will I remember the vastness of the ocean
Where the time stops its motion?

Will I remember the sunset in summer
As fire and sand in the sky?
Will I remember the past
As long as it last?

Will I remember the mountain top
If I fall down the slope?
Will I remember the light
When the darkness comes?

Will I remember your face
At the moment of the end?
Will I remember the green leaves
Where the bird lives?

Will I remember the love
When it’s already gone?

Will I remember my friends
Their caresses and wishes?
Or the love of my life
When she is gone?

Will I remember the letters
Or the numbers on graph paper?
Will I remember home
Even if I don’t see it anymore?

Will I remember the touch of your lips
Or the color of your hair?
Will I lose my sense
Or will I find it in my poetry?

Will I remember?... that question inspired me. I hope that people that read this poem will start questioning the same question and start seeing the world in a different way.
