I’m sitting here in a small
room
There is nothing else except
me,
While my screams ripple through the walls.
I try to open up the door
But it’s shut tight, with no way of opening it
The light above me is barely holding on.
I begin to panic once
I realize
I’m officially stuck in this room, with no one to join me.
I had windows that allowed the light to peak in
and take away some of the
darkness
But someone thought I didn't
need it
They thought darkness
was good for me.
So they came in and knocked my windows out.
Now all that comforts me is the flickering light.
Sometimes I wonder if anyone was out there
Looking for the key. Then I realize that’d be crazy.
Because, I've been stuck here forever, and I may never be able to walk away.
I can hear voices outside, and
I look at the light, I hope someone will open the door before
It goes out.
