Parasite
Love is nothing but a parasite,
for it feeds off your heart and soul.
It leaves you reckless and carfree,
makes you blind, unsure of what you see.
Love brings war, resulting in damage of the collateral nature.
Friends and acquaintances, become your enemies.
They are the ones who shove a blade of emotions through the heart.
Love is like wild fire,
burning everything to a crisp.
It is a flame made of guilt, pleasure, and revenge.
It is a lie hiding behind a mask of happiness, peace, and joy.
What is Love, and why does it hurt more than heal?
Why do we love?
Maybe because we’re just human.
