“They're certainly entitled to think that, and they're entitled to full respect for their opinions... but before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience.” -HL

You are the Sun, and I the Moon.
You chase my darkness. I bring you gloom.
Monsters howl to me.
To you, angels fly.
Your light burns through me.
As time passes by, you'll only glow brighter.
While I merely exist, you are a worshipped being.

Why, oh, why are you crying?
Do not think this is a goodbye.
Never have I seen you dim and cry.
Especially for one such as I.

You are the Sun, and I the Moon.
You chase my darkness. I bring you gloom.

I wrote this a long time ago and recently submitted it here so that's just what it is. One of my early works from a few years back.
