Moral Principles
A devilish thing they do portray
Their eyes linger on my sway,
Their tongues scream to betray,
For I am their prey,
But they'll never have their way.
No they'll never reach me at all.
My eyes await for a deadly brawl,
My tongue awaits the didactic drawl,
For they're all to quick to slight my fall,
But by the end of the day they'll be the ones on the floor in a sprawl.
I won't lose this battle tonight.
No, not when I'm the one who's right.
